We had 14 players down for training. brian power stephen maher and thomas griffin didn't show.
started off with a warm up and some strechtes.
drills
shuttle runs with balls dribbling in between cones then passing another passing drill the box game drifferent version instead of calling numbers called out e.g. ball over head, left foot, right foot , right, left knee on ball done shooting were players called a name out to recieve a pass from either Sineid or Ciarain if they didn,t call name they would have to go to end of que .
we had a game which there was a lot off dodgy tackles. as for Cillian i wasn't sure was he a volunteer or player.
thanks joe duffy

good man Joe thanks. Cillian is a secondary school student doing his "An Gaisce" duties, so hopefully we'll get to hear and see more of him in the coming weeks. He plays soccer regularly so we should be able to involve him from time to time in drills and ideas. Cillian is a neighbour of mine.
And there's supposedly one other (at least) An Gaisce young fellow to come down to us in the near future.
And you might have seen Sinead (or was it Aoife) who was with us a year ago at the recent Blitz . She's going to come along when she can this year as well...
